Problem Solving

Problem Solving

Yes, having the importance of problem-solving is the key element of success. I am not referring to your best English tuition in Singapore or your maths tuition centre that our kids go to. As kids solving y2 + ab = X is easy to be solved. But there are many real-life difficult tasks and problems in their day-to-day life in the future. Example – What to do if they find relationship problems with a colleague or what happens if the power runs out, more often employers often look for the independent problem solver to solve such issues and soft skills like this are not being taught in schools or academic centres like best English tuition in Singapore or even tuition centre in Singapore, does not share nor teach such soft skills in life. That is why as parents or guardians of our child, we must share the importance of soft skills so that could thrive in a different mentality during their upbringing.

Self-control

Self-control

The most vital soft skill of All! Self-control is an important key element that allows kids to learn on controlling their emotions, such as outbursts of shouting, screaming, angry, crying, or even interrupting others. such skill requires teaching from young so they could understand and learn faster, quicker when they are in class, especially in the competitive environment if they are in tuition centres in Singapore such as best English tuition centre or maths tuition Singapore. Why so? The reason is that when kids have self-control in what they do, they will be able to be calm and analyze the situation that they are in, and react accordingly. Kids with Self Control they can observe and ask the question and improve accordingly.

Self Esteem/Self-confidence

Self Esteem/Self-confidence

Finally, Self-confidence. No one is born with self-confidence or with high self-esteem. Being dependable and charismatic requires experience and learning. Very often kids are concern with good grades and frame popularity in school or within their peers to measure their self-esteem. That’s like chasing a never-ending pursuit as kids will always experience a new popular kid in the block or experience a lower grade on a test or worse. Kids need to learn that such aspects are not critical in the long run, rather so they should focus on improving themselves during their upbringing. Have more adventure with your kids to build confidence such as rock climbing, kayaking, and leadership camp, Set goals and achieve them together with your child. Once such goals are achieved, they would be able to increase their level of confidence, outside the classroom as they may realize that a lower grade in school may not be such a big deal to them and popularity in school too. Kids may not be taught such soft skills in their classrooms such as best English tuition in Singapore or any English tuition in Singapore. However, by teaching and sharing such soft skills with them, you are incorporating them into their daily lives and you may find yourself connecting with your kids over stuff that matters.
